On another note, the socio-political crisis in the country saw an escalation of violence and increased hardship on the population. Despite all effort and the United Nation’s Secretary General Call for cease fire, the warring factions continue the violence leaving the communities in total panic and fear. The rate of kidnapping increased, Rape and torture continue to be a weapon of war. Hate speech, propaganda, manipulation, and terror characterised these conflict affected zones. Due to the escalating violence, the number of deaths and internally displaced persons increased. Misery, suffering and unspeakable horrors have continued to plague the civilian population with little or no means to meet the needs of these affected persons. The tragedy and brokenness is inconceivable that only be describe as a near human catastrophe.
